CAFOD appeal raises funds for a cow!

We are delighted to announce the final total raised for the CAFOD (the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development) World Gifts appeal.

The children were asked to bring in any change that they had around the house. Given that our challenge was to try to buy a cow which cost £100, we are delighted that the children raised a total of £488.11! We know that many of the children have donated their own pocket money and we are proud of their generosity. Thank you also to all of our parents and staff who donated to this very worthwhile cause.

We are delighted to have been able to raise enough money to buy:
A cow – £100
A goat – £28
A water testing kit – £254
Helping a refugee child – £46
A vegetable garden  – £10
