Independent Schools Council
The Independent Schools Council (ISC) represents 1,280 independent schools educating more than 500,000 children. ISC schools are accredited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and the Head of each ISC school is a member of one of our five Heads' Associations.
ISC schools cover the entire academic range. They also cover a wide social range, with nearly a third of children receiving help with fees.
The ISC website has a complete, searchable database of all ISC schools, with links to school websites, and gives guidance on choosing the right school for your child, on getting help with fees, and on sources of advice if your child has Special Educational Needs.
